2023 – Our Highlights

What a year! This year we have been lucky enough to meet so many amazing people through community demo days, events, and through getting social online. We have launched some of the most innovative products now available on the triathlon and open water market and in doing so supporting you on your journey to where you belong. We’ve pulled together some of the best highlights to share with you from throughout the year. Let’s get started… 

We kick things off with our first demo and content day in Thames Ditton, London with a fantastically enthusiastic group of cold open-water swimmers. This was a great opportunity for the swimmers to test out some new open-water products that we were soon to be releasing, while also capturing content to support the launch of our Where You Belong Campaign. We can’t thank everyone enough for their time and for being so open in sharing their stories with us. 

Next, Jamie our Sports Marketing coordinator jump-started our club's demo program by visiting triathlon and open water teams and clubs up and down the country. Allowing athletes and coaches to test out our product, provide feedback and get first-hand experience of the product fits, knowledge, and have the opportunity to have great fun with a like-minded group of people. We have loved this year-round opportunity to get fully immersed in the community and meet people from all walks of life, hearing their stories about the sport they enjoy so much and where their journey is taking them. 

Now, let’s take this international! This year we are proud to have worked with and continued our relationships with global events partners such as Challenge Family, Challenge Roth, and the national governing body, USA Triathlon to name a few, as official swim sponsors. We have been able to support these events and on the ground with trade stands, swim demos and meet-and-greet with pro athletes. Some big highlights came for us at Challenge Roth and USAT Nationals where we were able to meet so many friendly faces, get inspired by your performances, and support you with any last-minute race needs. We were so inspired that yes; we couldn’t help getting involved ourselves with many of our team taking to the racecourse and smashing their personal goals. 

That’s not all! We have also been very lucky to support many events companies closer to home in the UK. From one-off events such as the London Duathlon, to complete event series with Henley Swim or Active Training World; we value every partnership here at ZONE3, knowing that every event big or small is special and the athletes taking to the start line is destined for a fantastic day out.  

Across the year, our team of global ambassadors and teams have accomplished national and international medals, challenged themselves to new boundaries, and in some cases even broken personal records along the way. We are proud and thankful that we have been able to support you on your journey in sport. We thank every one of you for being such amazing brand ambassadors for ZONE3 and we can’t wait to see what you achieve in 2024. During 2023, our sustainability journey here at ZONE3 has taken new heights. The release of our Yulex plant-based rubber swimwear collection made a splash in the open water community, being the first triathlon company to produce such products. We have made conscious choices with supply and distribution channels to refine and improve our systems in support of the planet with initiatives like Aquapak water soluble bags for packaging and starting to work with Circular Flow to reduce the volume of neoprene waste heading into landfills through recycling. The next steps on our journey are exciting as we strive to become a clear choice and leaders for sustainable products in the triathlon and open water community, we can’t wait to embark on 2024 with new and exciting things to come.  

Finally, none of the things we have been able to do this year would have been possible without you. We endeavour to continue making quality products, providing unique and thrilling experiences and supporting you Where You Belong.
